My belief is that information regarding mental health diagnosis should be held in confidence between a mental health professional and client. I believe that an informed consumer should have control over the information related to such personal concerns. In order for a mental health professional to bill an insurance company for payment, the professional must provide diagnostic information to the client's insurance company. With this said, I have decided to charge a fee for services rendered at the time you come for counseling. After each session (and receipt of payment), I will provide you with a receipt (superbill) that has the appropriate information that an insurance company would require in order to reimburse for counseling services. You may file the superbill with your insurance company and you may receive reimbursement based on your benefits, if you so choose.
Fee for 50 minute appointments of individual (13 years and older), couples, and family counseling services is $120 . I only accept cash, checks, or money orders (sorry, no credit or debit cards). I can also accept payment via Zelle, Cash App, and Pay Pal. There will be a small, nominal upcharge for electronic payment (2-4%). If you'd prefer a 25 minute appointment, the fee would be $60. If you'd prefer a 100 minute session, the fee would be $240.
25 minutes = $60
50 minutes = $120
100 minutes = $240
As a reminder: cash, check, or money orders only -- no credit or debit cards accepted. No direct insurance billing accepted for payment. I can accept electronic transfers, via Zelle, Cash App, or Pay Pal, but with a nominal upcharge: Zelle (no upcharge), Cash App (2% upcharge), Pay Pal (4% upcharge).
